Our Staff
National changes to curriculum have informed our school structure. This structure has brought together passionate teams of teaching and non-teaching staff who collaboratively plan, program and problem solve. Individual student needs are identified and strategies implemented.
Our shared commitment to the development and general wellbeing of students through early identification, support programs and a focus on building and restoring relationships, brings fulfilment and satisfaction.
We are blessed with a staff team that displays a rich set of experiences and gifts, and a professional diversity of educational views and opinions. Ongoing staff development is a priority. Collegial support, an ability to laugh, and a desire to grow spiritually are measures of a healthy team.
Teacher Qualifications
Good Shepherd Lutheran school has a teaching staff of 24 full-time equivalents. In addition, the leadership team is made up of the Principal, Business Director, Director Junior Primary, Director Senior Primary, Teaching & Learning Leader, Director Curiosity ELC, and Director Imagination OSHC.
All teachers at Good Shepherd Lutheran School satisfy the requirements of the Teachers Registration Board for registration. A list of qualifications and the number of teachers holding these qualifications in the school are listed below. As some staff hold more than one qualification, the number of qualifications will be greater than the number of staff.
Diploma: 7
Bachelor degree: 28
Post Graduate Diploma/certificate: 2
Masters: 8
